EFFECTIVE WAYS TO BOOST YOUR ENGAGEMENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

 

Don't let low engagement stop you from creating content. And, you've to stop thinking the algorithm is somehow plotting against you.

However, to put your emotions in check and see the results you are looking for here are a few things I recommend you should do to boost your engagement.

🎯CHANGE YOUR STRATEGY: Posting the same content will not loosen up the algorithm. Find out what is not working well/or resonating with your audience and find a new solution(re-strategize).

🎯SHUFFLE YOUR HASHTAGS: It's offensive to use one hashtag over and over again, except for core hashtags like community, brand, and location hashtags. Know the number of hashtags that works well for each social platform, and avoid trending hashtags that have nothing to do with your brand/content. Use a combination of short tail and long tail hashtags.

🎯POST FREQUENTLY AND CONSISTENTLY: Consistency is posting relevant, quality content consistently. Additionally, keep a tab on your audience's most active time and your post frequency.

👉Your posting frequency is how often you want to post.
👉Consistency is sticking to the frequency.

🎯INTERACT WITH OTHER ACCOUNTS:
Make it a habit to engage with other accounts and foster new relationships. When someone compliments you learn to genuinely appreciate them. Additionally, always respond to your comments and DMs.

🎯JOIN LIKE-MINDS COMMUNITY: A community with like-minds will commit to consistently sharing ideas, learning from each other,  and engaging with each other's content to increase visibility and engagement.
